this Gigabyte board uses hardware ID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A182" and the Realtek driver is installed thru the HDXRtGi.INF file cuz that INF file lists that specific ID.
Hardware device IDs are very unique are like pure gold to me, that's why I value them more than anyone else in these forums.
Note to Brink: here are the direct links to the v6.0.1.8412 CAB file downloads for 32bit & 64bit versions, which I know the 64bit 139Mb size version was briefly mentioned one day but later removed from an MS Update Catalog search [I bookmarked the link from another PC that I was using].
v6.0.1.8412 - (32bit/x86) 79.6Mb, (64bit/x64) 139Mb - these can be installed under any Windows 10 release, including the RTM/1507 (build 10240) version
open any of these CAB files in 7zip or any file archiving tool, extract one of the HDA*.INF or HDX*.INF file inside and view the INF file in Notepad.
And latest driver from MS Update Catalog for Win10 RS3 (aka Fall Creators Update) is v6.0.1.8425 but it's not a full featured driver. Also the INF files included inside mention the strings like this:
%MfgName% = AzaliaManufacturerID, NTamd64.10.0...15063
[AzaliaManufacturerID.NTamd64.10.0...15063]
I can also install v6.0.1.8425 onto the Gigaybte GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 motherboard since 8425 does support hardware ID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A182" & was listed in theHDXGigabyte.INF file but I'll only get basic audio features & no Realtek audio control panel and no enhancements included. My custom built PC with that Gigabyte board now uses Win10 Pro x64 RS3 (fall creators update)
